My services
A flexible mix of creative and consultancy support, shaped around what your organisation needs most.
What sets me apart?
Iām a designer and illustrator, but my role goes beyond execution. I bring creative thinking shaped by 17 years of experience. From museum interpretation and cultural storytelling, to branding and creative campaign concepts, across agency, in-house and freelance roles.
Before anything is designed, the work begins with understanding: the subject, the audience, and what the outcome needs to achieve. From there I work with care and attention, testing ideas, refining details and integrating feedback, communicating at each step so nothing feels rushed or unclear.
Iām comfortable taking a project forward independently, but Iām just as comfortable joining existing teams and contributing collaboratively.

Branding begins with understanding. I work closely with organisations to explore who they are, what they stand for, and who they need to reach. Through structured conversations and strategic thinking, I develop a small number of considered brand directions, refine the chosen route, and support implementation across key touchpoints where needed. The outcome is a clear, credible brand that communicates purpose, builds trust, and works consistently in the real world.

Thoughtful, well-crafted design across print and digital. Includes reports, publications, social templates, and campaign assets. Iām highly experienced working within established brand guidelines and systems, ensuring consistency while still bringing clarity, creativity, and polish. This is ideal for organisations that need their work to feel cohesive, credible, and professionally executed across multiple channels.

I have extensive experience designing exhibition graphics for museums, science centres, and visitor attractions. This includes working with complex content, dual-language interpretation, and layered messaging for diverse audiences. I advise on content structure and tone as well as visual design, creating graphics that balance clarity with intrigue, drawing visitors in while supporting meaningful understanding. Every exhibition is approached with an awareness of space, flow, accessibility guidelines, and the real-world way people move through and engage with environments.

I create illustration that supports understanding, emotional connection, and storytelling. This includes childrenās illustration, species and wildlife illustration, and information-led illustration for educational contexts. Whether simplifying complex ideas, bringing species to life, or engaging younger audiences, my focus is always on clarity, accuracy, and purpose ā using illustration to make content more approachable, memorable, and fun!

I specialise in communicating complex scientific ideas in clear, engaging ways, helping organisations share their work with confidence, credibility, and impact. This includes infographics, reports, diagrams, educational materials, and interpretive content designed to make research, data, and evidence accessible to a wide range of audiences.

Many organisations have an in-house designer working without senior creative support. Having worked in-house myself, I understand how valuable it is to have another creative mind to sound ideas off ā especially when youāre embedded in the day-to-day. I offer flexible consultancy as an outside creative partner, bringing fresh perspective and practical thinking. This includes reviewing existing materials, identifying gaps or inconsistencies, helping teams prioritise the most effective ideas, and creating clear rules, templates, and online toolkits that support a consistent approach across all outputs. Sometimes this may lead to a rebrand, but other times its just about making sure there are clear rules for how your brand stays visible across platforms and collaterol.
