My process

How are we measuring success?

Before thinking about logos, layouts or campaign ideas, I want to understand what the work actually needs to achieve. Who are we talking to? What do we want them to think, feel or do differently? What would make this project genuinely successful? That might mean attracting new corporate partners, changing visitor behaviour, increasing participation, reaching a new audience or simply making an important idea impossible to ignore.

From there, I bring 18 years of experience across branding, campaigns, interpretation and storytelling to work out the best creative response. Sometimes that’s a new identity. Sometimes it’s a behaviour-change campaign, a publication, or exhibition.

For reports, brochures and other printed projects, I work with a trusted print specialist to provide a complete design-to-print service.

  • Lisa is a joy to work with. Her creativity, design talent and amazing illustration work have helped to bring Galapagos Conservation Trust's work to life over the last few years, from our educational storybooks to our refreshed logo to our annual Impact Report, and her passion for our mission comes across in everything she does. But just as importantly, she is diligent, reliable, bursting with ideas and always super-responsive - everything you could want from a designer!

  • Lisa has a strong understanding of conservation interpretation and a real instinct for how people engage with information and design. She’s able to take complex topics and turn them into clear, engaging visuals that connect with audiences. For organisations working to inspire understanding and action around conservation, that’s a very valuable skill.
